Solar Street Light Company is the website brand of D.O Green Solar Energy Limited, a seller and distributor of solar street lights. We operate solarstreetlight.company and are responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

Information we process
- Technical information your browser sends when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. Our hosting and security providers process it to deliver the website and protect it from abuse.

- Analytics information, only if you allow Analytics: pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you arrived, collected through Google Analytics 4.
- Share-button information, only if you allow Marketing: page views, interactions and an identifier collected by ShareThis.
- What you tell us when you call or send a WhatsApp message, such as your name, phone number, project location, requirements and messages.
The website has no account registration, contact form or newsletter sign-up. Please do not send sensitive personal information that is not needed for your enquiry.

Analytics and share buttons
Google Analytics 4 and ShareThis load only after you allow the matching category, and only on solarstreetlight.company. Google Analytics’ advertising features are switched off. ShareThis uses information it collects for its own purposes as well, including targeted advertising, and states that it sells or shares usage data and audience segments with other businesses. - Public authorities, where the law requires it.
International transfers
Google, ShareThis, Cloudflare and WhatsApp operate internationally, so information collected through them may be processed outside Nigeria, including in the United States. These providers describe their own transfer safeguards in the privacy policies linked above.
How long we keep information
- Cookie choices: used for 180 days, then you are asked again. The record stays in your browser until you clear it.
- Google Analytics: event data is kept for the retention period set in our Google Analytics account. Google offers 2 or 14 months for standard properties.
- ShareThis: according to ShareThis’s own policy; its
fpestididentifier lasts 13 months. - Enquiries and orders: as long as needed to handle your enquiry or order, and longer only where the law requires it.
- Technical logs: according to our hosting and security providers’ settings.
Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, and subject to its conditions, you can ask us to:
- confirm whether we process your personal information and give you a copy;
- correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- delete information we no longer need or that we process on the basis of consent you have withdrawn;
- stop or limit processing you object to;
- provide information you gave us in a portable format;
- not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing. This website does not make such decisions.
You can withdraw consent at any time. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (opens in a new tab). If you live elsewhere, the law where you live may give you similar rights.

We may ask for information to confirm your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond within the time the law requires. For information held by Google or ShareThis for their own purposes, you can also contact them directly through the links above.
